Frankly I don't see anything wrong with working at McDonald's, especially for someone right out of high school. I have a lot more respect for you than someone who just hangs out and lets mom & dad pay for his gas & Big Macs. And as for your question, you can write "open" in the space for salary, and they'll tell you what they pay and you can take it or leave it. It's not unusual for people to do that when they're willing to work for the amount that's offered.
